Grappolini hand-made Organic Zwieback Rusks
Our wholesome natural rusks are made from unaltered ingredients and incomparable to rusks produced using chemical, artificial or sophisticated ingredients.
Most of the rusks on the market are produced by “dropping”.
The liquid dough is made from flour, water, raising agent and chemical agents. This dough is “dropped” into closed moulds where it is left to rise and baked. The rusks come out of the oven all the same shape, size and weight, like nuts and bolts.
The difference in quality and cost between rusks made by dropping and those made by hand, respecting the kneading and leavening processes, embracing goodness and wholesomeness is self-explanatory.
How our handmade La Fetta Bio is created
The loaves are made from a mixture of flour, water, Grappolini extra virgin olive oil, sourdough and a pinch of salt.
They rise for 8-10 hours depending on the type of flour used.
After baking, the loaves are cut into slices which are placed by hand on baking trays to be toasted and then bagged by hand.
This is what hands are for, to give us the true goodness of handmade bread.
Our La Fetta Bio rusks do not contain:
chemicals, sugar, sunflower oil, butter, liquid yeast, milk, eggs, bran, or brewer’s yeast.
They are 100% Natural Rusks
Slices of leavened natural bread, free without moulds, with sourdough,
our oil and cut into slices.
